Conference Participants
Conference targets education leaders, academicians and researchers of educational leadership and management from universities, schools, colleges, education ministries and non-governmental organizations in East Africa and overseas.

Event Summary
The Aga Khan University - Institute for Educational Development, East Africa, under Research office is hosting its 5th Annual Research Institute. In the spirit of its core values of quality, access, relevance and impact in the context of its commitment to creating a dynamic learning environment and the sharing of research based knowledge. 
This will be a three-day conference were by participants will share experiences  hope to chart the way forward in resolving the education challenges in East African countries. 


Event Details:
The Conference will be officiated with His Excellency, Ian Myles from High Commissioner, Canada in Tanzania.
The Event will be facilitated with key note speakers from Kenya, Prof. Olive Mugenda Founder and Director CILG, Nairobi, Kenya and Dr. Kitila Mkumbo, Associate Prof in Psychology and Education UDSE, Dar es Salaam.
AKU – IED, EA and generally AKDN Institutions have conducted research projects seeking to understand education in Tanzania and East Africa under the umbrella of Strengthening Education Systems in East Africa (SESEA). The methodologies and evidences gathered throughout these studies will be amongst the papers, posters and body of knowledge to be referred all through ARI conference 2017.
