Online Teaching for Nursing Educators - Basic Level

Online teaching and learning is a way of communicating virtually with students and sharing lectures, notes and presentations digitally. Our 2-day workshops, basic and advanced levels, prepare nursing faculty to become tech-savvy and gain fluency in online modalities to excel in conducting online classes and assesments. ​

BASIC-LEVEL TRAINING

Tuesday & Thursday, March​​ 16 & 18, 2021
2 to 5 pm | Online via Zoom

Last date to register: Monday, March 15, 2021

This workshop will introduce participants to online teaching and learning platforms. 

Learning Objectives
  • Create an online classroom,
  • Develop and teach an online module. 
  • Showcase their work on Google Classroom at the end of the
    trainings.​​​

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Registered nurses
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Nursing instructors holding a bachelor’s degree and having related work experience can also apply  
  • Currently practicing or teaching nurse, midwife or lady health worker
  • Willing to train other health professionals in their department and share progress with training team 
  • Availability of internet and device
