Increasing population, degraded land resources, and declining water supply are increasing the vulnerability of global food security. The University of the Fraser Valley in partnership with Aga Khan University's East African Institute and Panjab University will host a symposium to discuss sustainable food systems within the Fraser Valley, East Africa and Punjab, India.
Keynote speakers will be sharing their expertise on sustainable food systems that range from food distribution, resource use, policy and new innovations in production. There will be breakout sessions with the experts followed by a public symposium with international guests.
