The Department for Pathology and Laboratory Medicine has launched a series of weekly webinars titled “How do I diagnose?” These sessions are specially meant for clinicians & general practitioners and aim to provide the recent and updated guidelines and information about laboratory diagnoses of various disorders.

This webinar is being conducted to raise global awareness of parasitic diseases which cause immense morbidity and mortality in this part of the world. Prompt, accurate diagnosis and treatment can limit the duration of these infections and improve the quality of life. Parasitic diseases remain a much neglected area of tropical medicine. This webinar aims to highlight the epidemiology of common intestinal parasitic diseases, their diagnosis using internationally accredited methodology and latest treatment.
