In this seminar, Ms. Shairose Jessani will present preliminary findings of her doctoral study with a specific focus on the:
- Current level of Basic Scientific Literacy (BSL) among pre-service teachers enrolled in 4-year B.Ed. program in Sindh, Pakistan.
- Comparative overview of BSL across gender, types of teacher education institutions and year of study.
Presenter
Ms.Shairose Irfan Jessani is a PhD Scholar at AKU-IED. She has spent more than two decades of her career in the education sector working as teacher, teacher educator, researcher, consultant and curriculum developer. Her research interests include science education, assessment and pedagogies.
