Part II of the ‘How do I diagnose?’ Pathology Webinar Series, this session focuses on developing a better understanding of laboratory tests and their interpretation. It will help physicians to a make their diagnosis in a cost effective way.  Complete blood count provides the pertinent information to physicians related to both haematological and non-haematological disorders. Testing and Interpretation of complete blood count is a non-invasive procedure and it is a very useful test which is commonly performed in all patients. 

Laboratory quality control refers to a set of procedures which ensure that all analytical processes are working according to specification and producing reliable and accurate test results. As these results have considerable influence on public and clinical health decisions, numerous regulating agencies and accrediting bodies strive to assure accurate, consistent and standardized laboratory testing. The webinar will help laboratorians in maintaining optimal performance of their laboratories.

The webinar will also educate physicians regarding the steps taken in the lab to ensure reliability and accuracy of test results.
