Ms. Rozina Roshan, has over 23 years of experience of working at AKUH, Karachi. She has keen interest in quality, patient safety and infection prevention and control which has grown overtime. She has done international USA based Certification in Infection Control (CIC) from CIBC Certification Board of Infection control and Epidemiology, Inc. She works directly with the leadership of AKUH, to bring change at the bedside in the light of joint commission international (JCI) standards particularly in infection prevention and control standards.
She is a joint faculty at AKUSONAM and involved in MScN students clinical practicum and thesis every year. She translates her passion into action by providing her honorary service in AKDN institutions. She is a lead nurse at AKUH involved with leadership in preparing AKUHK and AKHSP for the preparedness of Coronavirus (COVID-19), preparing educational material, FAQs, providing awareness to all staff, liaison person with Sindh government, WHO representative and National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad.
