East Africa Institute

The Aga Khan University's East Africa Institute presents findings from their recently published Youth Entry Level Skills Report to various stakeholders, including elected representatives, civil society leaders, development partners, government, and business leaders. Kenyan youth and employers further discuss gaps and obstacles in current formal and informal employment sectors.

Conducted in 24 counties and across 15 sectors, the aim of the study was to generate evidence to support reliable assessment of the skills and competences possessed by youth in entry-level jobs (the supply), and the skills and competences needed by employers (the demand).
