Point of Care Echocardiography (POCE)
This CME is designed to educate physicians and allied health staff working in ER, ICU and other acute care settings, the utility of echocardiography in clinical decision making with reference to knowledge of equipment, basic terminology, views/interpretation and basic imaging with reference to cardiac function and effusion/temponade so that they may utilize this modality more efficiently.

- Basic understanding of echocardiography equipment.
- To learn how to obtain and interpret basic echocardiographic views.
- Assessment of heart function and effusion/temponade.
