To introduce advances in cardiac imaging to relevant health-care professionals to enable them to better utilise these newer modalities in clinical decision making​​  ​

Objectives:

To enable the participants to:

  • Gain basic understanding of advanced Echo modalities (3-D echo)

  • Gain basic understanding of advanced Echo modalities (strain)

  • Gain basic understanding of Cardiac CT

  • Gain basic understanding of Cardiac MRI​

Content:

  • Basics of 3-D echo and applications in LV function and aortic/ mitral valve disease

  • Basics of strain echo and applications in LV function assessment/CMP

  • Basics of cardiac CT and applications in structural heart disease +/- CAD

  • Basics of cardiac MRI and applications in assessment of CMP​

Who Should Attend?: 

This course would be useful for Cardiologists and Cardiology Residents in training and Senior Echo technologists. ​​​
