University General Counsel
The General Counsel is responsible to oversee the University’s legal matters nationally, internationally and advise accordingly. The mandate includes reviewing and/or preparing documents, agreements, legal opinions and legislation analyses as required. The General Counsel is also responsible to review, from a legal standpoint, AKU’s institutional policies and procedures as required by relevant departments, ensure company law compliance for all entities associated with AKU wherever situated, and carry out special projects as may be directed by the University President.
