eSubmission: National Institutes of Health, USA

AKU is registered with NIH’s eRA Commons.

What is eRA Commons?

It is a portal for electronic submission of research grants to NIH. Faculty wishing to submit grants to NIH must register on the eRA Commons database.

To register with eRA Commons database, contact Research Office Helpdesk, Ext. 4111 or  +9221- 34864111 or visit us at the Juma Building office (Pakistan).

What is Grants. Gov database?

Grant applications to NIH's most competitive research grants require the online portal Grants.Gov database.  Potential grant applicants can search funding and download application from www.grants.gov.

NIH grant applicants must register both as Grants.Gov users and as eRA Commons users.  The use of both sites will be required in the preparation and submission of NIH grant proposals.

A 39-minute video of a mock panel review will help applicants to understand about the NIH proposal review process and aid in developing better applications. To access, click here.
