E-marking begins at Aga Khan University Examination Board

Following the SSC composite examinations conducted by Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) in May 2007 the marking of scripts have begun.

AKU-EB examinations are all marked electronically. The MCQ papers are marked through the e-Scoring method whereas all CRQs are marked through the e-Marking software.

A team of over 300 markers and senior markers will be marking the CRQs at two locations, that is, Karachi and Lahore. AKU-EB aims to complete its marking within three weeks.

Computer-assisted marking not only protects the candidate against marker error but also enables marking to be completed on a timely basis as well as providing valuable analysis of student performance by subject and areas that need improvement.

The integrity and transparency of its examinations are major priorities for AKU-EB.
