The
Department for Educational Development at the Aga Khan University
(AKU) is offering the second course of the series in Health Professions
Education (HPE), the 'Advanced Level Course on Teaching and Learning',
from August 15 to 25, 2006.
This course is jointly developed and offered by the faculty
from the Department for Educational Development with expert national and international
visiting faculty. It comprises of two weeks of pre-reading, two weeks full-time
intensive face-to-face participation on-site at AKU, followed by six weeks where
participants return to work in their respective departments/ institutions and
complete an application-based assignment based on problems in the participants
own context and best evidence in medical education (BEME) available.
