AKU Reflects
Islamic Way of Life - says CPLC Chief Jameel Yusuf

 In
keeping with its tradition, Aga Khan University (AKU) celebrated
Independence Day on August 14, 2001. The chief guest, Mr. Jameel Yusuf,
Chief, Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), urged citizens to
work in areas of health, education and law and order, and lauded AKU
for being an institution "that reflects the Islamic way of existence." Felicitating the jubilant guests on the nation's 54th birth anniversary,
Dr. Shamsh Kassim-Lakha, President, AKU, suggested focus on human
resources and underlined the importance of research in dealing with
problems facing society.
