Chief Minister Sardar Ali Mohammad Mahar visited Aga Khan University
Hospital (AKUH) on
May 27, 2004
to inquire
about the progress of the victims of the May 26 bomb blasts on
Fatima Jinnah Road in
Karachi
.
Eleven injured, including nine policemen and
two civilians, were brought to AKUH in the aftermath of the blasts.
Currently, five patients are still under treatment at the Hospital.
AKUH's multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and care ensures
a continuum of safe and high-quality care for patients.
The
Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the compassionate and
high-quality care being provided to the patients currently under
treatment at AKUH. He praised the administration, doctors and staff
of AKUH for their timely and professional response to this crisis.
