7. Promoters of Urolithogenesis

My research interests are in the areas of gene regulation, epilepsy, vaccine development, and phyto-therapeutics. We have a number of projects that are currently ongoing, all of which employ state-of-the-art molecular biology and biochemical methodologies.

CURRENT PROJECTS
Our focus of research has been the identification of renal stone proteins as possible promoters of urolithogenesis. This work is being conducted in collaboration with Department of Surgery Aga Khan University, Karachi and Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
