Women Imaging

The Women Imaging fellowship programme at AKU covers all of the disciplines of Women Imaging including breast, obstetrics and gynaecology imaging. The programme takes place in a high-volume academic environment.

Through this one-year programme fellows receive training in all aspects of Women Imaging, including plain films, mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis and contrast enhanced spectral mammography, IVP, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Fellow will also perform breast and women imaging related interventional procedures.

Trainees will be supervised directly by Women Imaging faculty. Faculty is always available for supervision, assistance, and consultation.​
