Aga Khan University , chartered in 1983 as Pakistan 's first private international university, is committed to the provision of education, research and health care of international standard relevant to Pakistan and the region. The University's Medical College comprises several clinical departments, a Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences and a Department of Community Health Sciences ( CHS ). The affiliated Aga Khan University Hospital has well-equipped investigative services and provides state-of-the-art clinical facilities. The Department of CHS is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan , recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance, quality and extent of its work in support of public health. The department comprises of six major operational units: epidemiology and biostatistics, health systems, environmental & occupational health, social & behavioral sciences, community health and population & reproductive health program; that supervise graduate level courses and research studies.

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Instructor/Instructor.

Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will teach/facilitate in undergraduate programmes, graduate and short courses, undertake independent research and/or participate in research activities; carry out administrative responsibilities related to teaching and consultancy; and undertake other scholarly activities.

Requirements
Candidates should possess the following:

• MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics or MSc Health Policy & Management or equivalent degree from a recognised university;
• Teaching experience will be preferred;
• Knowledge of the research environment in an academic setting;
• Good analytical skills;
• Fluency in written and spoken English;
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
