Assistant Officer, Patient Admission

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Officer, Patient Admission.

Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for admitting patients into Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi based on defined protocols and procedures as well as ensuring all the admission-related processes/documents are timely updated. He/she will also be required to coordinate with Medical faculty/Nursing Services for patient admission-related matters/availability of beds in the Hospital. The incumbent will also be required to collect cash from inpatients after closing of Cashier’s Office.

Requirements
Candidates should have:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree;
• At least 1-2 years of experience in direct customer dealing, front desk operations and cash handling;
• Some knowledge of medical terminology;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in computers, especially in Microsoft Office.
