Assistant/Associate Professor, Paediatric Cardiology

The Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at Aga Khan University is one of the best units in South Asia offering clinical, teaching, outreach and research programmes. It has an 88-bed unit along with a 14-bed NICU. The department has 14 full-time and eight part-time faculty members in various clinical specialties such as General Paediatrics, Neonatology, Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Nephrology, Paediatric Haematology and Oncology, Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric Infectious Diseases, Paediatric Gastroenterology and Paediatric Endocrinology.

Applications are invited for the positions of Assistant/Associate Professor, Paediatric Cardiology.

Faculty will have independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and specified administrative activities.

Requirements

• Candidates must have completed a structured postgraduate training in Paediatrics and possess FCPS, MRCP, American Board or equivalent qualification;
• Have demonstrated scholarship through research, publications and/or contribution to education;
• Candidate should have at least two years Fellowship or equivalent training in Cardiology preferably with some experience in invasive Cardiology.
