Senior Planning and Design Coordinator

Aga Khan University (AKU) invites applications for the following position of Senior Planning and Design Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• The incumbent will be responsible for space planning of capital projects for AKU's Stadium Road campus and its international campuses;
• preparing space programmes and user requirements in close coordination with the users and estimating the size of the project;
• assisting users in writing design briefs which are released to architectural firms and coordinating closely with the construction cost team and budget team for the development of project budgets;
• The incumbent will also be responsible for preparing long term facilities planning proposals and assisting other professional staff in space programming/area calculation of projects and coordinating and corresponding with architects and engineering consultants.

Requirements 
Candidates should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering;
• A minimum of eight years' experience;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Auto Cad.
