Research Associate

The Department of Community Health Sciences, Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Responsibilities
The incumbent will assist the Principal Investigator in carrying out research activities in a research project titled “Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in South Asian Women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus”. This includes data collection and coordination, data management and analysis, preparing progress reports, and coordinating research team meetings.

Requirements
Candidates should possess the following:

• MBBS degree/General Nursing (RN) Diploma;  
• 2-3 years work experience in research (preference will be given to female candidates who have worked in the area of women health issues and those who are familiar with the Medical Records system at AKUH);
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficiency in the use of computers, especially Microsoft Office.
