Medical Director and Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Medical Director and Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs.

Responsibilities
The incumbent will report to the Chief Operating Officer of the Hospital for a wide variety of key issues relating to the operations of the clinical departments at AKUH and to the Dean, Medical College, on all academic matters. As a senior member of the management and Chair of the Joint Staff Committee, the incumbent will be involved in strategic decision-making and in the Institution’s overall organisational development. S/he will play a key liaison role between the Hospital and the Faculty of Health Sciences of AKU in matters pertaining to medical quality assurance, credentialing, medical management and programme planning. 

Requirements
Candidates must have suitable postgraduate qualifications with extensive managerial and clinical experience at a senior level in a teaching hospital. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive leadership style are essential.
