Senior Manager, Human Resource Policies & Compensation

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Manager, Human Resource Policies & Compensation.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and innovative thinker, one who is accustomed to leading from the front and inspires confidence, dedication and commitment in his/her team members. S/he will be responsible for developing, evaluating, implementing, and documenting personnel policies to meet the needs of the Institution. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for the implementation and administration of institution-wide compensation programmes including job analysis/evaluation and salary administration; conducting regular studies to ensure internal pay equity and external competitiveness so as to attract, retain and motivate high quality faculty and staff; and ensuring compliance with the University's quality management systems for processes, documentation, records, performance indicators, statistics and related matters for assigned areas of responsibility.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • An MBA/ ACMA/ CA or equivalent degree;
  • Significant related work experience, including at least five years in a leadership position;
  • Must demonstrate outstanding project management, communication, and analytical skill sets;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point;
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management.
