Biography
Ehsan Solaimani is a Persian language instructor at the Aga Khan University’s Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations (AKU-ISMC). Ehsan holds a PhD in Psycholinguistics from the University of Essex and his main research focus investigates second language acquisition, sentence processing, and statistical approaches to data analysis in social sciences (frequentist & Bayesian modelling). He holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering and an MA in Applied Linguistics, and enjoys programming in R, html, and JavaScript, to design experiments in linguistics, psychology, and other cognitive sciences. In addition to Persian, he is proficient in English and Arabic and speaks a little bit of Spanish.
