On 8 September 2005, on the basis of a bibliographic survey of publications on biomedical ethics in the Muslim context he is conducting at the Institute, research fellow Ayman Shihadeh presented a paper detailing some of his findings, including current issues, debates and approaches in the field. Gaps were identified and a framework for further enquiry was suggested. Dr. Shihadeh intends to publish the paper.
