MA in Muslim Cultures Short Courses

MA in Muslim Cultures – New Approaches to Muslim Realities and Memories Aga Khan University - Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations offers an innovative and unique MA in Muslim Cultures, certificate courses, and, from 2008, survey and focused short courses. Courses are multidisciplinary and cover a wide range of subjects, from literature to law and the history of thought to architecture.

The Institute’s MA in Muslim Cultures is a two-year postgraduate degree programme, offering a distinctive way of understanding the plurality and complexity of past and present Muslim cultures. Its approach to learning is open, critical and versatile, with a teaching approach that emphasises critical and analytical thinking, the acquisition of knowledge and active participation. The MA in Muslim Cultures seeks to equip students with the fundamental skills needed to enhance their capacities as global citizens, intellectuals and practitioners in a variety of fields.
