Principal Selection Criteria for Proposal Recommendation

• Quality of the proposal (see guidelines for proposal development)
  
• Relevance to institutional research priorities
  
• Track record of principal investigator: successful completion and outputs from earlier grant projects

Categories for proposal recommendation

1. Recommended (In case of suggestions, the amendments should be made and the proposal must be resubmitted to Head, RAPS (RAPS office).
   
2. Recommended Subject to incorporation of feedback and/or clarification concerns raised by reviewers/RAPSAC; the proposal has to be resubmitted to RAPSAC for further review.
   
3. Not recommended.
