Dr Rashida Qureshi joined Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) in 2003 as an Assistant Professor. Her responsibilities at the Institute include development of courses, teaching and research. Currently, she is teaching 'Muslim Civilisations' to MEd students and 'Effective Teaching Strategies' to Certificate in Education students at AKU-IED.
Dr Qureshi has extensive experience of community participation
and development research. She is a member of the AKU-IED's
PhD Programme Development group, working on research methods
in education.
In future, her teaching areas would include: 'Gender
in Education' for the MEd programme, and 'Research Methods
in Education' for both the PhD and MEd programmes.
