Roshni Kumari is Senior Instructor at Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED). Her responsibilities include research and teaching.

She has been engaged in initiating and conducting research mainly in the area of teacher education, school improvement and impact evaluation. Her research experience involves working in various roles - as a principal investigator, co-case author and a team member. She also taught on the programme, 'Certificate in Education: Teacher Education' offered to the ESRA participants.

She was the Coordinator for the 'AKU-IED and Aga Khan Education Services, Pakistan Collaborative Research' Committee. The committee was formed to facilitate the initiation of collaborative research between the two partners. She was also one of the beginning members of Research and Policy Studies Advisory Committee (RAPSAC) and a member of the Programme Committee for the AKU-IED International Conference, 2006.

She joined AKU-IED in April 2001 as a Research Associate. Prior to joining AKU-IED, she had been teaching English Language to children (at school level) as well as adults/ professionals (at a language institute).
