Ms Kulsoom Jaffer joined
Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED)
in 1996 as Research Assistant
and later promoted to the position of Instructor in 2001.
Currently she is Senior Instructor and Coordinator, Certificate
Programmes, at the Institute.
Ms Jaffer has vast teaching and research experience. She
specialises
in Educational Leadership and Management, Monitoring
and Evaluation, Community and Parent Participation. Her teaching
area mainly includes Educational Leadership and Management.
Prior to joining AKU-IED, she served at the
Aga Khan University Medical College. She had also worked at The Ismaili Tariqah and Religious
Education Board, both in Pakistan and Kenya.
