Dr Iffat Farah joined
Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED)
in July 1994. Presently, she is holding the position of Professor at the Institute.
At AKU-IED, Dr Farah conducted large-scale national studies in the area of school improvement and reform. Currently, she is leading studies on community management and finance of schools in Pakistan.
Prior to joining AKU-IED, Dr Farah was involved in the programme development and teaching at public and private sector institutions. She has also been consultant to the Asia Foundation, UNESCO and the World Bank.

- Access and quality of schooling in developing countries (with special interest in girls' education)
