Dilshad Ashraf joined Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) as a Senior Instructor in the year 2000. She has a vast experience of teaching and working with teachers. She is currently Assistant Professor at AKU- IED
Ms Ashraf recently completed her doctoral studies with a focus on teacher development and curriculum studies. Her study particularly examined teachers' development in the Northern Areas of Pakistan.
Before joining AKU-IED, Ms Ashraf was working at the Professional Development Centre, Northern Areas, on the Whole School Improvement Programme. The programme included planning and conducting professional development activities such as workshops, preparing curriculum-related teaching aids and classroom-based professional support to school teachers.
