Engendering the Health System: Improving the Quality of Health Services for Women (Babar Shaikh)

The objectives of this study are to:

• Engage the health service providers in a behavior change process vis-a-vis health needs of women clients;
• Engage community women to raise awareness amongst them and the community in general, regarding the health issues and needs of women;
• Promote appropriate and timely use of health services; and
• Initiate a process of empowerment in the community women through transformative learning
