US $498,200 granted to CHS to develop capacity in Afghanistan to improve mental health services
Community Health Sciences (CHS) is proud to announce an award of US $498,200 to develop capacity in Afghanistan to improve mental health services. The Department of Health and Human Services, US government will support this programme to train MSc students through an existing grant, the Global Network with the National Institutes of Health.
CHS wants to thank Dr Patricia Omidian and Dr Ambreen Qazi for helping develop this proposal. CHS will be working with the Department of Psychiatry and the School of Nursing to develop the programme that emphasised training and research in community mental health.
