Goals and Objectives

Health Systems Division is guided by WHO framework for leadership and management in health systems.

Specific Objectives for next 3-5 years are:

• Develop and implement educational and training initiatives in health systems development for individual, institutional, national and regional capacity building.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with relevant local, national and international institutions for the promotion of health systems research and healthy public policy.
• Support relevant, effective, equitable and sustainable health services delivery models.
• Develop HSD into a Department/Centre in the proposed School of Public Health.
