Yudi, from Bandung, Indonesia, completed his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Udayana and his Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance from the IIBF-International Islamic University Malaysia. Since 2008, he has been teaching at several universities in Indonesia, such as FE UNDPAD, FSH -UIN SGD Bandung, and FS-UNISBA. Yudi is interested in the history of economic thought, economic sociology & anthropology, philosophical foundations of Islamic economics and finance, political economy, and globalization and development issues. He speaks English, Sundanese, and Bahasa Indonesia. His hobbies are varied and include badminton, swimming, futsal, walking and bicycling.
