Class of 2012 Student Profiles

Shahid Karim

Shahid comes to AKU-ISMC from Northern Pakistan where he studied Mathematics, Education and Persian Literature during his undergraduate studies. He completed a post graduate diploma in Public Administration and then a Master of Administrative Sciences, with a specialisation in Human Resource Management from the faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences, University of Karachi. Over the last seven years, Shahid has worked in the field of education in many different capacities including as a teacher, trainer, lecturer, and manager at different educational institutions. He previously worked with the Karachi Educational Development Centre as Manager, HR and as Vice Principal at the Shaheen Public School & College in Karachi. Shahid has also worked with UNDP Pakistan as a Master Trainer, a visiting faculty member at the University of Karachi and at the National Institute of Labour Administration Training in Karachi. He speaks Brushaski, Urdu, English and Persian, and enjoys playing and listening to music.
