Kazim Bacchus Research Seminar

The Research and Policy Studies (RAPS) unit organises a research seminar on the fourth Friday of every month for AKU faculty, students and participants from cooperating schools and universities in Karachi.

Participants from Professional Development Centres, North and Chitral, Institute for Educational Development, East Africa (IED, EA) and Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations (ISMC) attend these seminars through Elluminate. 

These seminars provide an opportunity to disseminate contextually relevant research findings to key stakeholders and learners. Many of these seminars are conducted by senior faculty members of AKU-IED and other higher education institutions.

Creating Stable Early Childhood Learning Spaces: Experiences from East Africa, Australia and Canada

Launch of Kazim Bacchus Research Seminar was followed by the first seminar “Researching Educational Issues: Experiences of Graduate Students” which aimed to bring the graduate students’ valuable researches in the discourse on research in education by providing a viable dissemination forum. All 23 researches (completed or work in progress) were presented through posters.
