To enhance the quality of services and communication among partner institutions basic facilities were provided to IER-PU for professional operations which included: three computers, one polycom audio conferencing machine, two laptops, one printer, one power generator. Additionally, one computer was also provided to AKU-IED.
As part of library development, a number of contemporary books identified by faculty were purchased for the IER-PU and AKU-IED libraries. These included 500 course books for the BEd and MEd programmes and 78 international reference books for the IER-PU library. In addition, the project also contributed in the collection of AKU-IED library in the priority areas identified by the faculty and by the Director.
All the collection at both the institutions is very well taken by the users including research scholars, students and faculty.
