Continuing Education Programmes

Introduction

The Certificates in Education are short professional development programmes designed for teachers and other educational professionals.

More specifically, targeted participants in these programmes are mostly school-based practitioners, whether teachers, heads or aspiring heads, whilst others are educational leaders in school systems, teacher educators, inspectors, education officers and others in educational leadership roles.

Certificates run over a period of three to six months with special emphasis on field-based components. Areas of focus include: Teacher Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Early Childhood Education and Development, Research and Evaluation and Educational Leadership and Management.
