FAS EA undergraduate degree programmes take place over four years of full-time study. An academic year consists of two semesters, with 13 weeks of ​instruction and 2 weeks of examinations each.

Undergraduate students can choose to specialize in one of three degree programme clusters. All degree programmes require that students complete the FAS EA integrated core curriculum.

These three degree clusters will share emphases on the power of story, science in art and art in science, and the contextual richness of knowledge creation. They will put particular emphasis on research, especially related to approaches fostering resilience in East African contexts.​
