As a member of Resource Development’s communications team, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the development and production of all communications materials. In this capacity, the incumbent will work closely with Resource Development staff, institutional entities and senior management in developing communications materials, cases for support, proposals and presentation materials to ensure the efficient pursuit of private funding. The incumbent will also assist with the oversight of the editorial content and design for the Resource Development portion of the university website and all electronic marketing campaigns, ensuring that all electronic communications generated by the department are in compliance with the university's editorial guidelines and visual identity standards.



The candidate should have knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of oral and written communications – ideally be adept at persuasive writing, for a variety of audiences, draft materials on a wide range of topics, including in proposal and publications development with writing and editing experience (desired if the experience is with a non-profit). S/he should possess skills in graphics and have knowledge of desktop publishing. S/he should have experience in conducting research and documenting findings; be skilled in interviewing a variety of people and gathering and synthesizing information from many sources.



​The selected intern will be provided with furnished accommodations as well as a living stipend to cover minimal daily expenses. All visa processing costs will also be covered.
