Introduction
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of ​Graphic Designer.
Responsibilities

​The appointee will be responsible for designing a variety of material and for enforcing the visual identity guidelines of the University and University Hospital. The material includes university-wide print publications, academic publications and branding material as well as designing for the website. He/she will also work with printers to ensure that quality specifications and timelines are met.

Requirements

​Candidates should have:

  • a degree from a reputable institution, preferably in Graphic Design or a related field
  • three to five years of experience in a similar position
  • good knowledge of a variety of programmes including QuarkXPress, Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat) and Inpage
  • good knowledge of offset printing process
  • ability to work independently and take the initiative
  • working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Publisher
  • excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people
  • strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Urdu.
