​Senior Civil Engineer


​Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Senior Civil Engineer for Multan and Upper Sindh Region.


The incumbent will:

  • ​Plan effective maintenance of all facilities and equipment at offsite phlebotomy centers, stat laboratories and offsite facilities through in-house resources and outsource works to contractors if required
  • Implement, supervise and manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM), break downs (BDM), Inspection, multiyear renovations and minor projects for all off site stations of Punjab and Upper Sindh Region
  • Participate in preparation of punch listing and handling taking over process of new facilities, responsible for taking over, arranging the resources to ensure ongoing management
  • Coordinate with users to ensure their satisfaction and get feedback through CQI form on monthly basis
  • Raise ROP, verify work, complete certificate check and forward the bill to Manager Civil and Ground
  • Spend petty cash, issue IOU’s and do procurement or labour payments after obtaining approval
  • Implement construction work for new offsite stations of Punjab and upper Sind region
  • Carry out regular field inspection to all stations in Punjab and upper Sindh Region
  • Co-ordinate specialized equipment maintenance with respective departments of FMD
  • Maintain & keep proper record for store inventory of consumables and spares required for upcountry maintenance activity
  • Manage petty cash account and submit expense claims regularly as per petty cash policy

​Applicant should have:

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 6-8 years of civil work related experience
  • Ability to supervise
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to train 
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and Urdu
  • Good interpersonal and coordination skills
