Aga Khan University, chartered in 1983 as Pakistan's first private international university, is committed to the provision of effective health education and health services relevant to Pakistan and the developing world. The Medical College comprises the clinical disciplines, a Department of Community Health Sciences, and a Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences. The Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences includes the disciplines of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics, Pharmacology and Physiology.
