Hi Everyone!

Since you last heard from us there is a lot to report! You will be happy to know that the construction of Aga Khan University Sports and Rehabilitation Centre will be completed in November 1999. That's seven months ahead of schedule! With your enthusiasm and support and with our team of experts, we were able to meet this challenge much ahead of time.

The sports and Rehabilitation Centre will provide rehabilitation facilities for patients. In addition, it will also provide faculty, staff and students of Aga Khan University (AKU) an opportunity to let off some steam!

Sharper minds and healthier bodies, that's our motto!

You already know, as a gesture of appreciation to all of you who donated so generously to make this happen, your names will be etched on glass panelling displayed on the outside wall of the gymnasium opposite the Aerobics room. Your invaluable contribution will always be remembered!

This Newsletter brings you up-to-date on memorable events that marked the construction of this project. These included a memento distribution ceremony for the AKU donors and volunteers and the inauguration of the first phase.
