MUHAMMAD INAUGURATES 3RD AKU SPORTS CENTRE
SUMMER
CRICKET COACHING CAMP
The AKU Sports
Centre has organized its 3rd Summer Cricket Coaching
Camp which has attracted more then 75 young cricket lovers (boys)
between the age group of 7 to 19 years. The camp is being held
three days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00
p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the months of June and July, 2006

Pakistan Cricket Team Mushtaq Muhammad inaugurated the 3rd
Summer Cricket Coaching Camp on Tuesday, June 6th,
2006. Mushtaq Muhammad appreciated the efforts of AKU Sports
Centre for grooming the young talent at grass root level. He advised
the young cricketers to work hard and maintain discipline and
try and learn more and more by this great facility. Mushtaq Muhammad
also appreciated the efforts of the cricket coaches for rendering
their services in cricket coaching camp. He emphasized that the
participants should take full advantage by this opportunity. Present
on the occasion was also the former Test Cricketer Jalaluddin
who emphasized that the children should work hard and mentioned
that maybe in future amongst these youngsters, we can identify
players like the legendary Cricketers Hanif Muhammad, Mushtaq,
Muhammad, Javed Miandad etc. Riaz Akbar Contractor, Chief Organizer
officially thanked the Guest of Honours Muhstaq Muhammad and Jalaluddin
for their kind presence and briefed about the main features of
organizing this summer camp. Mushtaq Muhammad and Jalaluddin
promised that they will spare time to teach the young cricketers
during the session. They gave some important tips regarding batting
and bowling and guidance regarding safety. Also present on the
occasion was Waqar Hussain, former fist class player and Hanif
M. Shariff, Sr. Manager AKU Administrative Services. The Coaching
is being rendered by Sr. Veteran Coach Tahir Ahmed, First Class
Players, Atiq-ur-Rehman and Tahir Rashid.
