Signs, Symptoms and Care

Since 1993, Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) has been organising “Signs, Symptoms and Care: A Public Health Awareness Programme” every month to increase awareness for the timely diagnosis of health problems, as part of its societal commitment of caring for the community.

The one and half-hour programme includes a lecture by a faculty member, followed by a question and answer session by a panel of consultants. Over 300 people from diverse backgrounds attend each programme, which are open to the public and free of charge. The interest of the audience is evident by the interaction between them and the faculty during the question-answer session.

AKUH has organised over 300 “Signs, Symptoms and Care” programmes in Karachi, which have drawn over 45,000 people. Based on the success of these programmes and in response to requests from Hyderabad, Quetta and Dubai, programmes continue to be organised in these cities.

To receive email notification of upcoming programmes, please contact the Marketing Department at +92-21 486-2696 or 486-2694 or write to marketing@aku.edu.
